Depuran Senna 20 Capsules
Depuran Senna 20 Capsules is a laxative that offers gentle yet effective relief of constipation and the discomfort associated with it.
Depuran has been used in alternative medicine as an aid to treat constipation.
Depuran is often sold as an herbal supplement. There are no regulated manufacturing standards in place for many herbal compounds and some marketed supplements have been found to be contaminated with toxic metals or other drugs. Herbal/health supplements should be purchased from a reliable source to minimize the risk of contamination.
DEPURAN INDICATIONS
Laxative especially in cases requiring the maintenance
of a soft stool to avoid straining (e.g. When there has
been hernia, aneurysm, hypertension, myocardial
infarction, or cerebrovascular accident, or after a
haemorrhoidectomy or abdominal surgery).
It is also used as an emollient and moisturizer to prevent
or relieve the signs and symptoms of dry skin.
HOW SHOULD I USE DEPURAN?
Use Depuran as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.
Take Depuran by mouth with or without food.
- Take Depuran with a full glass of water (8 oz/240 mL). Drinking extra fluids while you are taking Depuran is recommended. Check with your doctor for instructions.
- Use a measuring device marked for medicine dosing. Ask your pharmacist for help if you are unsure of how to measure your dose.
- It is best to take Depuran at bedtime.
- If you miss a dose of Depuran, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Depuran.

Precautions
Depuran is not recommended when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, or a sudden change in bowel habits are present. Long-term administration of Depuran is not recommended for the treatment of chronic constipation. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after Depuran use may indicate a serious underlying gastrointestinal condition, and warrants discontinuation of therapy and evaluation.
Case reports of severe diaper rash, blisters, and skin sloughing have been reported in pediatric patients who were administered suppositories. These effects have been more prevalent in children wearing diapers. Prompt changing of diapers, frequent cleansing of perianal area, and application of barrier ointment may help reduce the incidence and severity.
