Composition: Each tablet contains: Sennosides 60% (A&B) - 12.5 mg. Pharmacological classification: D 11.5 laxatives. Western Herbal Medicine.
Pharmacological action: Sennosides A and B are anthraquinone glycosides derived from senna which, upon digestion, are absorbed from the intestinal tract, metabolised and excreted into the colon where it takes effect.
Indications: Senna is recommended for the relief of occasional constipation. Identification: A khaki-coloured, bi-convex tablet. Presentation: Packs of 20 and 100 tablets.

Usage instructions:
Dosage and directions for use: Do not take continuously for longer than a week. Adults: 2 to 4 tablets once daily. Children over the age of 6 years 1 to 2 tablets one daily. May be increased or decreased depending on the response. Start with the lowest dose and if necessary increase with half of the initial dose. In case of failure to obtain the desired effect in 3 days discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner.
Patient information leaflet: Before you take/use Clicks senna: Do not take Senna: If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to sennosides or any of the other ingredients of Senna. If you have intestinal obstruction, stomach pain of unknown cause or stomach discomfort, including the feeling of queasiness or vomiting.
Do not give Senna: To children under 6 years of age.
How to take Senna: Do not share medicines prescribed for you with any other person. Always take Clicks senna exactly as your healthcare practitioner has instructed you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. Do not take uninterrupted for more than one week, unless advised to do so by a healthcare practitioner.
