Betalin Syrup Use
Betalin Syrup is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
- Relief of runny nose and sneezing due to common cold
- Relief of runny nose, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, itchy nose, itchy throat due to hay fever or allergy
- Patients with metabolic alkalosis
- Patients with hypochloremic states
Betalin Syrup Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology
Betalin Syrup improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
Increasing the excretion of extracellular electrolytes and water out of the body.
- Blocking the action of histamine.
Betalin Syrup - Composition and Active Ingredients
Betalin Syrup is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)
- Ammonium Chloride - 136Mg/5Ml
- Diphenhydramine - 14Mg/5Ml
Betalin Syrup - Side-effects

Betalin Syrup - Precautions & How to Use
Before using Betalin Syrup, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Hypersensitivity to Betalin Syrup is a contraindication. In addition, Betalin Syrup should not be used if you have the following conditions:
- Concomitant use with other products containing diphenhydramine
- Hypersensitivity
- Metabolic alkalosis with loss of sodium bicarbonate
- Severe liver impairment
- Severe renal impairment
