WHAT IS NEXA?
Nexa is a powder spray that is clinically proven to provide assistance and relief to sufferers of mild to moderate allergic rhinitis. Nexa contains hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), a natural cellulose powder that reduces the need for rescue medication for symptoms caused by hay fever, pollen, dust mites and flu viruses.1 Nexa works preventatively to stop allergic reactions before these symptoms start.
HOW DOES NEXA WORK?
Nexa contains a natural powder that turns into a gel when inserted in the nasal cavity. The gel then creates a barrier to shield the nasal membrane and assists in preventing contact with airborne allergens.
WHEN SHOULD YOU USE NEXA ALLERSHIELD™?
Use Nexa AllerShield™ before your symptoms start. If an allergic reaction has already started before using Nexa AllerShield™, allow about 30 minutes for the immediate symptoms to subside, then blow your nose and apply Nexa AllerShield™.
To assist in the defence against hay fever and allergies, apply Nexa AllerShield™ 2 to 3 times a day to maintain the desired barrier. Nexa AllerShield™ can be used as often as necessary and should last approximately 6 hours per application. There are up to 200 puffs per bottle.

HOW TO USE NEXA
Do not use if tamper-evident seal is broken. The strength of the pollen count, proximity of the allergen and severity of your allergies all have an effect on how frequently Nexa AllerShield™ should be used.

Blow your nose

Remove cap and shake the bottle.
STEP 3
Administer a test spray to gauge the pressure required for an ideal dose, which is a 10 to 15 cm plume of powder. If you find the bottle too stiff to squeeze with one hand, use both hands (once you are used to taking Nexa the test spray is no longer needed).
STEP 4
Place the nozzle of the bottle just inside the nose and apply 1 to 2 sprays into each nostril. Inhale gently while squeezing but do not inhale deeply.
STEP 5
Re-apply each time you blow your nose.
