TransAct® is an adhesive, anti-inflammatory patch that provides effective and uninterrupted relief from painful muscles and joints for 12 hours. It is applied directly onto the area of your body that has been injured, or is in pain. It's easy to use and comfortable to wear, so you can experience relief from pain, without any hassle. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about TransAct® patches, available at pharmacies.
How does it work?
TransAct® patches contain anti-inflammatory medication called Flurbiprofen. When the patch is applied to your body, this medication goes through your skin directly to the source of your pain - exactly where it's needed. And, because the patch is effective for 12 hours, you'll feel relief for long enough to carry on with your normal routine.
TransAct Recovery Centre
It's common to injure or experience pain in your muscles and joints, but that doesn't make it less debilitating. When you're in pain, it's important to take action immediately, so you can recover and get back to doing what you love. At TransAct®, we know that it's most common to experience pain in the neck, shoulders, lower back, thighs, abdomen, forearms, hands, knees, calves, ankles and upper back. That's why we've developed the TransAct® Recovery Centre, where you can find out how to treat pain in these specific areas, as well as how to prevent injury to these areas in the future. Simply click on the area where you are experiencing pain and follow the steps to learn more about the pain, find out what may be causing it, and get tips on how to relieve it.
Clean the painful area before applying the patch.
Peel off the back of the TransAct® patch, and apply the sticky side to your skin.
Stretch the patch slightly as you apply it, to avoid wrinkling the surface.
Bend joints (such as knees, elbows or wrists) slightly, if you are applying the patch over them.
Replace the patch every 12 hours.
Use one patch at a time.
Apply the patch to broken skin, as this may cause a higher dose of medication to enter the body.
Use TransAct® patches for longer than four weeks, without consulting a doctor.
